Citation Ethics Policy

References should be selected because they are academically relevant to the work.

Authors must not add irrelevant citations solely to increase citations to themselves, particular authors or a journal.

Editors and reviewers should not request unnecessary citations for the purpose of manipulating citation indicators.

Suspected citation manipulation may result in editorial investigation and rejection.
