Initial Editorial Assessment
Submitted manuscripts are initially assessed for relevance to journal scope, basic scholarly quality, completeness, originality, ethical compliance, authorship information, similarity concerns and compliance with author guidelines. Submissions that do not meet these requirements may be rejected before external review.
External Review
Manuscripts proceeding beyond editorial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. IJGESR applies a double-anonymised peer-review model, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are not disclosed to one another during the review process as far as practically possible.

Reviewer recommendations are advisory. Final editorial responsibility remains with the handling editor or Editor-in-Chief.
Revisions and Independence
Authors may be asked to submit a point-by-point response explaining how reviewer comments were addressed. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers or assessed editorially, depending on the nature and extent of revision.
Acceptance cannot be guaranteed before completion of the journal’s editorial and peer-review procedures. Payment of an APC, where applicable, does not influence reviewer selection or editorial decisions.
