IJGESR may publish special issues within its established aims and scope. Special-issue proposals are subject to approval by the Editor-in-Chief.
Guest editors must possess relevant subject expertise and disclose conflicts of interest.
Articles submitted to a special issue are subject to the same originality, ethical and peer-review requirements as regular submissions.
The Editor-in-Chief retains overall responsibility for the academic integrity of special issues. A guest editor must not independently control the review or decision on their own submitted article.
