Waiver, Refund and Withdrawal Policy

IJGESR follows a transparent policy regarding APC waivers, refunds and manuscript withdrawal. Financial matters do not influence editorial or peer-review decisions.

Waiver Policy

Authors facing genuine financial difficulty may request a full or partial APC waiver. Waiver requests should be made before payment and are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Policy

Article Processing Charges are generally non-refundable once payment has been completed.

Refunds may be considered only in limited cases such as:

• Duplicate payment.
• Excess payment.
• Verified technical or payment error.
• An approved waiver or discount not being applied correctly.
• Publication being unable to proceed because of an error attributable to the journal or publisher.

Manuscript Withdrawal

Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript by contacting the editorial office.

If a manuscript is voluntarily withdrawn after APC payment, the APC will not be refunded.

This applies to withdrawal after acceptance, during production, proofreading, formatting or before publication.

No separate withdrawal fee is charged.

Withdrawal After Publication

Once an article has been published, it cannot normally be treated as a simple withdrawal. Post-publication concerns will be handled under the journal’s Corrections and Retractions Policy.

Retraction, correction or withdrawal after publication does not normally qualify for an APC refund.

Editorial Independence

Payment of an APC does not guarantee acceptance, publication, indexing, citation or academic recognition.

Editorial decisions remain independent of all financial transactions.
